Luc - Can I post some details about my design?

Any update on the voting for the coins, a member of our local geocaching community used micropolls to poll for choosing the date for our annual event and it worked perfect. I created a computer version of my design mid last week thought I would post it cause its really hard to see my coin since its so light.

Ok. I was about to ask about the voting but I now see that Luc has made a post about emailing our votes. Here is a run down about my design.

My design is number 3 with the 2010 Year of Biodiversity logo.
The UN has declared that 2010 is the Year of Biodiversity which affects us all in one way or another. As cachers practicing CITO when we cache we help improve biodiversity. This is why I went with this theme.

I have been in contact with the Convention on Biodiversity (CBD) in Montreal and they have given us the ok to use their logo on our coin. The only thing they have asked is that they receive a copy of the coin to put in their museum. I believe that the Canadian Museum of Nature and Culture is located in Montreal.

This would be a great opportunity to promote GeoCaching now and in the future.

So as you can see, I am really anxious to get this voting going and if my design gets voted in then we can move on to present this coin to the CBD, or not, and make Ontario's mark on the rest of the country, and the world!

Vote is now even on 2 coin designs, pending confirmation of OGA membership status. Please post your signup name when voting. It's a heckuva lot of trouble to go through the membership list through e-mail signup, or searching through current e-mail for you. I have at least a dozen votes not counted because I can't figure out who you are.
